i looked outside my window
i saw a stranger in the dark...
i felt scared and empty,
for there is no one at my side

shadows loomed before me,
echoes drummed inside my ear
chilling shrills molded me
into a dark and hazy fear...

loud craks of thunder
illuminated the dark story of life
changing lanes at the crossroads..
going left from right

is this the fixed direction
of this haunted soul?
i never knew any corrections
given to me by those fools

i stumbled at last..
into a rocky tavern
mildy light and beaten
real witness of the unseen....
