The shadow is back
Trying to peek at the artificial light
Guess it was never far
Only cast aside
For no one dares to stare it in the face
And no one dares to kill it
Now it has found its courage
Called the light’s bluff
Sees the flicker behind the artificial glow
And slowly
The flicker became part of the shadow
Part of the shadow’s talons
Slowly...

It killed the light.
